Quite a few caps
How To Get To Underworld Fallout 3
I enjoyed enslaving the entirety of Underworld, barring the named characters of course. It is a good way to get caps for an evil character and is jolly good fun in the process.
i was wondering if someone can tell me how u get to the underworld. like dfo u have to take a underground route to get to the museum?
- No, if you've been to where the Washington Monument+Memorial are it's along the left hand side if you're looking towards the Capitol Building, it encradles a Metro Station out front and a female guard.ThePog 11:49, January 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Although the best way is to go from Rivet City, to Anacostia Station, then head north along the tracks and come out on the mezzanine towards the west. (East if you want the Museum of Technology) Pog 11:26, July 14, 2010 (UTC)
Error right at the top of the page!?
It says 'sapien' ghouls, shouldn't it be 'sentient' instead?
- Sentience is a consciousness' ability to have sensations and experiences. So a dog, a squid and countless other lifeforms fall into the category of 'sentient'. Sapience on the other hand covers wisdom and the ability to act and make decisions based on appropriate judgment. It's a common mistake in science fiction and other literature to use the words as synonyms when they actually aren't. In this case, a group of ghouls living in an organized society, 'sapient' is the correct term, although it does seem weird to mention this since Fallout Ghouls only seem to exist in either Non-Feral or Feral states with Ferals being the one being given the adjective to differentiate them from the regular, radiation-mutated human ghouls.Dr. Lobotomy 23:21, October 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Sentience is used more commonly in science fiction, which Fallout 3 is. However, I'm tired of the argument and have changed the language of the article.--Gothemasticator 00:06, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
How To Get To Underworld Fallout 3 Dlc
Exiting Underworld Bug
I had just done the quest 'You gotta shoot 'em in the head', and as Crowley started to leave, i pickpocketed his keys back, so I could get the armor myself. Leaving Underworld to go to the fort, I exit the door, but when the clock that shows on the black loading screen has turned 360 degrees, the game just freezes. I tested this 3 times and it's just the same. And since you cant fast travel out or anything, I'm pretty much stuck. And this is the Xbox360 version, so i cant fix it with console either. Help!
HELP!
How To Get To Underworld Fallout 3 Console Commands
on xbox 360 with broken steel and point lookout installed i cannot get into the museum of history! its always crashes! any help!?
Followers Can't Escape!!!
Jericho can't get out of Underworld! He just stands with his back to the exit (Exit into the lobby) smoking, never following! And yes he is definitely not set to 'wait'! Pog 11:23, July 14, 2010 (UTC)
Charon Died...... Problem.
So, quite a while back, Charon died, I don't even remember how.Anyways, I still have his employee contract, but I cannot drop it as it is apparently a Quest Item.I attained Good Karma, now I'm trying to recruit Fawkes, and I can't because apparently I have a follower already.
Underworld inhabitants fleeing
I killed some hostile ghouls at Museum of History (Lower halls) and then all Underworld inhabitans began to flee from me. I reloaded the game and tried again to check if it was a bug, but no: it happened again. Is it normal? Am I obliged to get the ghoul mask in order to loot the Lower halls? :(187.113.211.132 03:32, January 12, 2011 (UTC)Ambassador of Peace Armitage
Can't enter Underworld
Okay, here's the situation: I wanted to get some bad karma to recruit some other followers, so I thought, 'Why don't I just kill some generic townspeople?' So I killed a few unnamed citizens in Megaton, Tenpenny Tower, and, finally, Underworld. However, upon later returning to the Museum of History, I couldn't enter the door. I don't mean that it said it was locked, I mean that an interaction prompt didn't even show up. Currently, this means that Fawkes, Charon, You Gotta Shoot 'em in the Head, and Reilly's Rangers are inaccessible. Has anyone else had this problem?
P.S. I have a 360, so console commands aren't an option.

Smoothskin? You know, because your skin is so smooth... and tasty... Relax! I'm just kidding! But I had you going, didn't I?
”Winthrop is the engineer and de facto leader of Underworld in Fallout 3.
- 2Interactions with the player character
Background
Winthrop is Underworld’s technician. He checks on the electricity, makes sure any plumbing is in working order, and generally takes care of things.[1] He restored and reprogrammed the robotCerberus, and is responsible for his maintenance. However, Underworld is running low on scrap and may be forced to dismantle Cerberus unless they get a steady stream of scrap from elsewhere.[2] Winthrop is willing to trade medicine for extra scrap, including RadAway and Rad-X, because quite frankly, ghoul have no use for them.[3] When he's not worrying about scrap, Winthrop sleeps for a few hours in his little workshop off the Concourse, and is occasionally joined by his girlfriend Greta.[4]

- ↑The Lone Wanderer: 'What do you do around here, Winthrop?'
Winthrop: 'Me? I keep every hunk of old rusted pre-war garbage around here in operating condition. We've got lights, water, and ventilation all running off the old crap they used to keep this place going for the tourists. I've managed to keep it going so far, but... well, I'm not sure how long I can keep it up.'
(Winthrop's dialogue) - ↑The Lone Wanderer: 'Why? What's wrong?'
Winthrop: 'We've scavenged just about all of the scrap metal from all of the places we can safely get to. We're scraping the bottom of the barrel here. Hell, not before long, I'm gonna have to disassemble poor ol' Cerberus for parts. Hey, you get around, don't you? Tell you what, you bring me back any Scrap Metal you find out there and I'll trade you whatever I can. We can work out a trade. We've got some stuff around here that we don't need, but a smoothskin like you might make use of it.'
(Winthrop's dialogue) - ↑The Lone Wanderer: 'What sort of payment are we talking about?'
Winthrop: 'Well, we got Stimpaks, but the Doc keeps us healed up, so we don't really need 'em. So I could trade one of those for five bits of Scrap Metal. We also got us a TON of RadAway and Rad-X. I mean, what good is it to us? But I'll trade you either one for five bits of scrap. Your choice.'
